I just switched from categories to tags. Tagging is way more flexible for ‘making categories’, linking information, … and then some. Just installed the ultimate tag warrior plugin and converted all my categories to tags. Now this is tricky as my categories have been set up since i started this blog 3 years ago and haven’t changed since. Tags are way more flexible and change as my interests change, thus, making the tagcloud actually tell something interesting. For now you’ll have to stick with this. One day when I got too much time (when, oh when?) I’ll skim through old posts and tag them appriopriatly. Probably I’ll hack the wikipedia script to give me named entities for each post which i can then simply click and turn into tags.
